Please tell us about yourself, your family (if you have one), Interests, hobbies etc.

I was born and raised in Kenya, I am 33 years old, married with two children, and a teacher by profession for the last five years. My hobbies include learning, agriculture, moving along with the modern ways of life, and keeping in touch with the current events and affairs. I also love to read storybooks, watch movies, and help the needy. In the near future, I have a dream of traveling overseas for further learning and to interact with different people from different countries.

What goals do you have, as a teacher and for your future in general?

As a teacher, I intend to perfect and improve my own teaching skills and diminish the financial constraints I currently have. I wish to further my studies to the next level and to increase the content and materials I teach to my students by implementing a better curriculum at my school.

How has the support provided by Hopeful Africa affected you?

The support I receive from Hopeful Africa has truly affected me in a positive way. It has enabled me to give back to the community. It has also made me a more responsible and productive member of the community. In terms of finances, the salary I get from the organization enables me to provide for the basic needs to the family. Socially, I interact and share a lot with my colleagues who are veterans in the profession, courtesy of Hopeful Africa.
