Honoring World AIDS Day

Today we are coming together to recognize the impact HIV/AIDS has had on humanity. It has been 35 years since the U.S. Center of Disease Control and Prevention first reported the illness and since then, we have come a long way in terms of prevention, education and treatment for this disease that has claimed over 35 million lives, and affected far more.

We encourage everyone to learn more about HIV/AIDS by visiting  where you will find resources for clinics, fundraisers, volunteer opportunities near you, and educational information.

“The world has made tremendous progress in the global effort to end AIDS, but the fight is far from over – especially for children and adolescents,” – UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake.
