Hopeful Africa focuses on supporting four primary schools, two high schools, and one nursery school around the Nakuru area in Kenya, Africa (see the map). As the organization committed to increase the quality of education offered at these schools, they in turn have rewarded Hopeful Africa with partnership, dedication to the programs, and a commitment to educating their children.
While the seven schools are receiving donations, they are considered full partners in Hopeful Africa’s mission and operation. Each year, each school discusses their needs, ideas, and dreams directly with Hopeful Africa’s leaders. Those needs, ideas, and dreams shape the campaigns and program the organization develops each year. Creating an equal partnership is of utmost importance to Hopeful Africa.
Although the organization currently operates exclusively in Kenya, Hopeful Africa’s plan is to expand to other African companies within the next two-to-three years, as it becomes practical. Hopeful Africa’s first focus is the partnership and relationship between the organization and the community receiving funding. Once those relationships can be established outside of Kenya, Hopeful Africa will expand to other countries.
